About the iptego conference bridge

iptel.org users can dial in a conference room by calling 000777 and

then the room number, for example, 000777123456 will get you in room 123456.

Open to the whole world is sip:conference@iptel.org where you can enter the

room number on the telephone's key pad.

A special feature of this conference service is that you can connect people

not only in the iptel.org SIP service network, but also in other networks,

you just need to provide an outgoing line for it. For example, if you enter

your account of your favourite VoIP provider that offers cheap PSTN termi-

nation, you can do cheap PSTN or mixed PSTN and VoIP conferences.

This service is realized with iptel.org's SIP Express Media Server - see

http://iptel.org/sems for details. It uses advanced adaptive voice process-

ing to ensure best possible audio quality voice conferences. So that we can

improve the techniques even further, you may give some feedback about the

perceived voice quality while you are in the conference.

iptego GmbH offers commercial support and VoIP service products based on

an enhanced version of the SIP Express Media Server.
